This year September 13th, 2018 will be Positive Thinking Day. It is a day set aside each year to focus on all positive things. The celebration began in 2003 when an American entrepreneur dedicated a day to commemorate the many rewards he found by thinking positively.

You can achieve positive thinking. A few suggestions are: Start the day smiling, today and every day. This is the best thing you can do for others and for yourself. Begin the day with an enthusiastic attitude and say this is going to be a good day! This simple statement will give you confidence and raise your self-esteem. Hang around with people you know that think positively. Show kindness to someone today. Express your gratitude for some of the nice things Life has given you.

To think positively you will live more lightly. Think kindly of others, assume they have positive intentions rather than thinking everyone is out to get you. This will give you a good energy that in turn will cause more positive things will come each day to you. This attitude can help you live more lightly, and playfully, and will bring more happiness to you.

Sometimes you will find people struggles with the concept of positive thinking and they do not seem to have it as their default thinking, even if their brain is naturally wired for it. They should naturally focus more on things that happen that are good things. There is neuroplasticity in the brain. Change your thought patterns and train yourself to bringing more positivity into your mind. Meditation is a fantastic way to do it. Also, choose to smile at tough situations and to unkind people, and ignore whatever is making them act badly. Do not respond to mean with mean. Living with positive energy!
